MY PHILOSOPHY OF TEACHING

JASEELA (SOCIAL SCIENCE)

I embrace teaching as an opportunity to inspire and espouses as a teacher. It is my goal to enhance student learning as a transformative experience. I believe that a teacher should set specific and clear standards from the very first day of the class. I firmly believe that any good teacher remains a good student through out life. As a teacher, I will constantly evaluate my performances in the classroom every time. This includes assessing how well I presented the material, what students reactions to the material were, and coming up with ideas or how to improve upon my presentations to maintain students interest.

I believe that taking time to rewrite lectures, add new materials and revise lesson plans is something that all teachers must do on a regular basis. It is the task of every teacher to increase knowledge and understanding in the classroom. The teacher should also be prepared to head students in the direction . I firmly believe that the duty of the teacher is to help the students any time the students approach the teacher

My relationship with my teachers developed in me the desire to become a good teacher and I am on my way to attain my goal. I will approach my students as my teachers used to be with me. As a teacher, I must set high
standards for my students and for myself. This is "my personal philosophy of teaching".
